A Manifest & Introduction

Welcome to Lovisa Alsén and Awakening Feminine Leadership!

For the longest time I’ve been longing to share more of me, to be more authentic in my expression. I’ve been wanting to create a more nuanced space to talk about the turned-on creative feminine that calls the masculine and the world into being. To explore what is possible when more women awaken to Eros and the divine feminine power, and how that translates into a new form of embodied feminine leadership. This individuated and also deeply aligned feminine invites and celebrates masculine leadership, which in turn, supports and honors feminine leadership, until we all are rejoicing in each other’s beauty. And how this leadership, when fully lived, becomes an evolutionary practice in a unitive field, filled with flirtatious galaxies and a world that moves towards the center of everything as we keep expanding in emergence.

Why am I writing this Substack?

1. POST FEMINISM & EROS
   
   I believe the current form of feminism in the Western world has passed its due date. In many ways, I believe the way women are taught to see themselves as victims, is a great danger to society, and to women and the feminine.
   
   The post-modern values that have coming increasingly online for the past 50-100 years haven’t been wrong, though. Post-modern inclusive values are an important contribution to our emotional understanding of the world, and elevates us beyond the modern striving ideals to a greater sense of humanity. But to only feel, without the support of our bodies, and more particularly, our genitals, our vaginas (or penises, if you happen to be a male reading this), or my name, our ‘jewels’, bellies, hearts, and without a clear and bright mind and without embodied presence, we get lost in space and place, drowned by our young emotions.
   
   As a consequence, the way I see it right now is that Western women might bring the Western world down to its knees, where anti-Western ideologies (Islamo-leftism together with Chinese values) will take over in its wake. But instead of the ‘Great Feminization (referring to Helen Andrews take on what happens when women take over), I’m advocating for the Great Eros Awakening.
   
   The awakened feminine leadership I stand for, and teach, is built around creating a field of a turned-on sisterhood, is the one that is filled with erotic intelligence, the belly-based black panther and mystical wisdom. It operates in a unitive space, a step beyond the non-dual space, where we can be expressions of everything, while retaining our essential particularity. When women recognize our power at this level, when we understand that we ARE Eros and Life-Force, and the Glitter Frequency, we Call in the Awakened Masculine. Just like with all other species - the masculine cannot resist the turned-on feminine - we shift the entire conversation about women and men. We move towards one another, in support of one another, and in celebration of one another.
   
   As my own spiritual path has deepened, instead of taking me further away into the forest, it is bringing me into the world, with a longing to have an individuated and authentic expression in support of this extraordinary field of emergence and possibility.
   

2. FREE SPEECH
   
   I’m also starting this substack because free speech is essential for the West, shining a beacon of light unto those who don’t have it. At the same time, more and more people, especially students, and women in general, are saying no to free speech, which cuts off our life-force. Which in turn makes us move into fear and separation. Free speech is therefore not just an expression in the outer world, but also an inside job. I’ve censored myself for many years, especially after I was canceled, but even before that, and there is nothing that liberates us more than daring to show up in all our faulty glory, speaking our truth, bringing back Eros to the world.
   

3. MY LOVE FOR GEOPOLITICS & SEDUCTION
   
   As a committed spiritual student, many question the desire to get ‘attached’ to worldly issues. Which of course is true. It’s taken me years of inching myself closer to handle the onslaught of separation that taking in the news create. Yet, in a different life, I probably would have gotten involved in politics. Since I was a child, I wasn’t only interested in non-dual states, but also in strategy and pattern recognition - who has the real power at any given moment - and who is pulling the strings, and why. No political party felt like home, though, and they all come across as too conservative for me, whether they were left or right. I love lateral thinkers and doers, creatives and rule-breakers, as well as those who lead with depth, truth and heart, which is a difficult combination in the political world. Three years ago, I rejoined Twitter, or X, which has been such a fabulous school in learning from amazing thinkers of all colors. After October 7, 2023, I felt myself getting more interested in understanding Middle Eastern politics at a depth, especially trying to understand the rise of anti-semitism, seeing which patterns are unfolding, and where the crumbs lead to. I’m also a models gal, being fascinated by developmental models like Ken Wilber’s integral thinking, Meta-modernism, Spiral Dynamics etc.
   
   At the same time, spending too much time in the geo-political world, dries up my juices. It’s too masculine. My true purpose is to be seduced by life, by Eros and the divine feminine.
   
   A Third Perspective
   
   I’ve always enjoyed taking in both the left and the right perspectives in the world, having grown up in a family that used politics as a way of relating, with social activism on my Mom’s side going back to the 1870s. I’ve enjoyed being slightly to the right, often with a libertarian take, but still close enough to handle being in the middle, and being able to serve as the family’s mediator and as a coach. I’m also an Economist, with CEO-and other leadership roles, and an entrepreneur. Since I’ve hung out in yoga, spiritual and Burning Man circles for the past 20 years, with strong experiences of shared unity, it has also taken me the center-left side of the aisle.
   
   What has kept putting me in the third aisle however, is my support and belief in empowering the erotic feminine, embodiment, women’s sexuality and spirituality - together with the celebration of the masculine. Neither aforementioned side fully understands nor supports these yummy and heretic notions - hence my joy in sharing these perspectives here.
   
   Eros as Guide & Queen
   
   What we truly need, and what is being called forth, is Eros and the playful yet deeply powerful grown-up feminine; the Queen and Seductress, or as I call her today, the Dark Seductive Goddess , inspired by the late Jungian psychoanalyst Marion Woodman. An expression of the feminine that holds the light and the truth, who can show up in her realness, and support others to do the same. The Queen and Seductress that turns towards what she fears, instead of projecting her fears outwards. She who learns how to individuate and stand in her autonomy, and in the process, and combines personal responsibility with playfulness. Who can see the benefits of coming from different levels of stage development, and hold and celebrate all our perspectives, while also trusting her inner guidance, moving towards unity.
   
   When more women start embodying the Dark Seductive Goddess, together, in a turned-on jewel-connected sisterhood of powerful women in service of the life-force herself; Eros as She, something new can emerge. It becomes the Call to a new reality. I can’t promise it will be a better world, even though I have a strong sense it will be, but it will be a rollicking seductive journey with much more fun traveling companions. Hence why I’ve decided to use my voice in this Substack.

2. I want to build a community of lovers of the turned-on feminine that calls in the holding & creative masculine

For the longest time, I’ve also been wanting to create a smart, informed, generous, system-thinking, curious and supportive community. You find women on Insta, sharing their wisdom, but rarely with the depth of intellectual long-form discussion that I long for. You find smart men on Twitter or X, and some women too, but often without the presence, awareness, interest or longing for supporting this movement.

I love the practice of being true, without collapsing into one another, and to allow ourselves to be triggered by one another - and naming that. Without needing to make the other person bad, instead I want us to find our essential bigness and flirtation.

I want to create a space where we together build a sacred unitive field. To strengthen the capacity of a movement around the turned-on creative and life-creating feminine, of Eros, the Dark Goddess, and a celebration of the body - and the mind - and the heart, so we can in turn celebrate the holding and creating masculine, and lay the ground for an evolutionary path of mystic lovers.
